Washington
Leadership Program
The Washington Leadership Program
is an annual summer program in which IACPA brings 15-20 of
the most promising young Indian American leaders in the United
States to the nation's capitol for an eight-week intensive
leadership training course which includes a six-week
internship with a Member of Congress. The program is the one of the largest and most competitive Asian American internship
programs on Capitol Hill.
Summer
Speaker Series
For six weeks each summer, IACPA brings you top
leaders in and affecting the Indian American community to Washington to
speak on a variety of topics. Past speakers include: Delegate
Kumar Barve of Maryland, Mike Patel of the Asian American Hotel Owners
Association, Laura Efurd of Public Liaison office at the White House,
and Shamina Singh, Executive Director of the White House Initiative on
Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.

NationalWire
Newsletter
The NationalWire Newsletter aims
to keep the Indian American community connected to important
events throughout the country as well as the Center's
activities. The quarterly publication is distributed for free
via mail, as well as a via email.
IACPA
Action Center
The Action Center is the way
IACPA informs the community about pressing issues that need
immediate and tangible response. From responding to negative
stereotypes in the media to pushing for necessary
legislation, IACPA's Action Center helps to guarantee an Indian American response. The Center also serves as a
base for the community to report incidents that need
investigation and/or national attention. Let your voice be
heard!
