Prior to starting the KS Group, Mr. Sharma served as senior counsel to Senator Robert Torricelli of New Jersey. Mr. Sharma managed the Senator's legislative staff, implemented legislative strategy, reviewed constituent correspondences, and was responsible for several legislative issues.
Mr. Sharma also served as a legislative consultant at Verner Liipfert Bernhard McPherson and Hand and as a legislative assistant to Congressman Frank Pallone.
Dr. Ralph Nurnberger
IACPA Advisor
Ralph Nurnberger is a government affairs counselor at Preston Gates. Ralph served as legislative assistant for foreign policy and defense for Senator James Pearson (R-KS) and as a professional staff member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee's Subcommittee on Foreign Economic Policy.
He has held two positions in the executive branch, first as Special Assistant to the Administrator of the General Services Administration and then as Director of Congressional Relations for the Bureau of Export Administration within the Department of Commerce. For more than eight years, he served as a Legislative Liaison for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
