Kal Penn Is Among People’s ‘50 Hottest Bachelors’

People magazine in its June 20 issue featured Indian-American actor Kal Penn as one of the ‘50 Hottest Bachelors.’ Penn, whose given name is Kalpen Modi, is a New Jersey native, and his latest film ‘Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle’ is scheduled for release on July 30. Penn, whose film credits include ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing’ ‘Malibu’s Most Wanted,’ ‘National Lampoon’s Van Wilder,’ ‘Where’s the Party Yaar?’ and ‘American Desi,’ is not only a confirmed vegetarian, but also a dedicated pacifist and an idealist who is passionate about affirmative action. He is now shooting the film ‘Sueno’ with John Legu-izamo. Penn can also be seen in the new Warner Bros feature ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing.’ PHOTO Above, cover of the magazine.
