Bhan recognized as ‘Top 5 Under 35’ at ‘Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business’ awards

Sundeep Bhan, founder, president, chief executive officer and chairman of the Board of Medsite, Inc., was recognized at the ‘Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business’ awards at the New York Hilton and Towers, on June 30. The award, sponsored by the Asian American Business Development Center, recognizes the business achievements and contributions of Asian Americans in the tri-state area. Bhan was recognized as the ‘Top 5 Under 35’ at the awards gala.
Bhan was born in India, and came to the U.S. at a young age and attended the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. According to a press release, “his greatest success to date, was his ability to identify a critical need in the health care industry and craete not only the company that leads the way in addressing this need, but also in defining the industry in which it operates.”
He gave birth the e-pharmaceutical marketing industry and raised $85 million in venture capital. Medsite, Inc. has investors like Morgan Stanley Partners, JP Morgan Partners etc.
He currently serves as a director of the board of Matthews Medical, a distributor of medical books, supplies and software. He has served as a guest lecturer for Goergen Entrepreneurial Management Program at the Wharton School. He was also a finalist for the Ernst and Young 2000 ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award and a recipient of the Creating a Voice Award in recognition of outstanding contributions to American Community Affairs presented by Project Impact.
Bhan also serves on the advisory board of the eMarketWorld organization, and has been a keynote speaker at numerous conferences on health care and the Internet.
