Rajeev Sharma
Rajeev Sharma, president of Frontier Building Products was honored on June 30 as one of the ‘Outstanding 50 Asian-Americans in Business’ for the year 2004. The award, sponsored by The Asian-American Business Development Center (AABDC), recognizes successful Asian-American businessmen and women in the tri-state area.

Under Sharma’s supervision, Frontier’s sales volume doubled in 2002, tripled in 2003 and continues to grow impressively. “I am honored to receive this award, but credit must also go to the staff at Frontier,” said Sharma.

Sharma was born in India but migrated here as a young adult and became a U.S. citizen. He is now a resident of Edison, New Jersey.

He attended The Cooper Union, New York University and Stevens Institute of Technology, earning undergraduate and graduate degrees in Chemical Engineering, Financial Management and Technology Management, respectively.

The AABDC award ceremony took place over a gala dinner at the New York Hilton in mid-town Manhattan.
