Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will meet President George W. Bush in September when they will be in New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly session, Indian Ambassador Ronen Sen said on Aug. 11.

“We are working on the meeting between President Bush and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that will take place during the UN General Assembly session in September,” Sen told reporters at the Indian embassy here.

This will be the first meeting between the two leaders after Manmohan Singh was sworn in as India’s new prime minister on May 22.
