Voter guide to help Indian Americans in making their choices

While the Nov. 2 presidential elections are crucial, for the Indian-American community Congressional elections are of equal importance, particularly the members of the Congressional Caucus on India and Indian Americans and the Senate India Caucus. Also what needs to be noted is that the Senate and Congress are both controlled by the Republican Party under the Republican administration. The Senate has 51 Republicans, 48 Democrats and 1 Independent. The House of Representatives has 227 Republicans, 205 Democrats, 1 Independent and 2 vacancies. An equitable distribution between these two legislative bodies would better serve democracy.
