YASH CHOPRA’S ‘VEER-ZAARA: Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta in Yash Chopra’s love story ‘Veer-Zaara.’ This is the indefatigable movie mogul’s first directorial effort in seven years after five decades of trend-setting hits like ‘Dhool Ka Phool,’ ‘Waqt,’ ‘Kabhi Kabhie’ and ‘Dil To Pagal Hai.’ It is also the film with which he made history by reviving the melodies of Madan Mohan 30 years after his death. The film, which had a world-wide release on the Diwali day (Nov. 12), was a year-end top grosser for the industry. (File photo)
