The English Language Institute of Pace University announced a series of Test of Spoken English (TSE) workshops for medical professionals in New York Metropolitan area.

The workshops every Saturday began on Jan. 22 at the university’s downtown campus at One Pace Plaza, across City Hall and next the Brooklyn Bridge, a press release said.

For nearly two years now, the university has served as an official TSE exam site. The spring 2005 TSE workshops include Jan. 22 and 29 (session 1), Feb. 5 and 12 (session 2), Feb. 19 and 26 (session 3) and March 5 and 12 (session 4). The TSE is designed to offer non-native English speakers in the New York Metropolitan area an opportunity to improve their skills in the language. Courses in the program include Written English, TOEFL Preparation, Spoken English and Accent reduction.
