Ileana Ros-Lehtinen meets Sen over a working dinner

Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, senior member of the International Relations Committee and Co-Chair of the India Caucus, dined with the Indian Ambassador to the U.S. Ronen Sen, and a Indian Parliament member Murli Deora, Member of Rajya Sabha, and his wife.

Ros-Lehtinen, her husband Dexter Lehtinen, Ambassador Sen and his wife joined Murli Deora and his wife for a working dinner that focused on bilateral and regional issues.

Said Ros-Lehtinen, “We had a very productive working dinner last night as we spoke about the whole range of U.S.-Indian topics and focused on how to continue improving ties between our two countries.

“We also spoke about the need to enhance our cooperation in the ongoing war against global terror and economic cooperation. I look forward to working with my colleagues in the House as the Co-Chair of the

India Caucus so that our two countries can move forward on a positive agenda that will benefit world stability and the spread of democracy.”
