May 26: The International Trade Administration changed some of the antidumping duties on a few Indian steel wire rod manufacturers and exporters to the U.S., viz. Viraj Alloys Ltd. and VSL Wires Ltd. (collectively ‘Viraj’), Isibars Ltd. (‘Isibars’’), and Mukand Ltd. (‘Mukand’). The final weighted-average dumping margin for the reviewed firms for products exported to the U.S. in the period Dec. 1, 2001 through Nov. 30, 2002 showed a margin of 0 percent for Viraj, 18.67 percent for Mukand and 48.8 percent for Isibars.

The Commerce Department said it will determine and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection will assess the amount of the revised antidumping duties based on the review.
